Honoring {Christ}mas

Just wanted to pose a question for the week. Or month I guess.
What are you doing this year to teach your children the true meaning of Christmas?

Or:

What have you done in years past that you felt was especially meaningful to you or your kin.

Do you give $$?
Do you give time?
Do you pray about it?
Do you watch for the opportunity?
Do you love to give in secret?
Is it meaningful?
Would you do it again?
Is it a tradition?
Do you think your kids will do this?
Did you remember your pet?
What have you learned?
Do you feel it is enough?

There are always the usual giving opportunities each year;
Giving trees, Community coat and shoes collections, School organized giving projects, soup kitchen, that one family, etc.
But each year as Christmas comes and goes I find myself asking if it was enough. Did I put too much of my efforts to the materialism of the holiday?
(Have you heard about the new Xbox 360 SANS Controllers?? O-M-G!)

And every year I just hope that it is; and that the best thing I can do is GIVE all year long.
My time, my talents and mostly my love.

Hope you all have a wonderful and meaningful Christmas season!
A
