the thing about pumpkin pie...

My husband loves pumpkin pie. He will eat it any time of year.
He may have questioned our marriage when he got me to try it,
and I didn't like it.
There is just something about the mushy-gooey texture, I just can't handle.
If you scrape off half the thickness of the pie so you have about 1/2 inch pie filling along with the crust well...
Then I can do it.
But other day I was browsing through our new grocery section at Target and came across this:
And the thought came to me:
Cinnamon Graham Cracker Crust....

Topped with the above ice cream...
Topped with this!

Ingenious I know.
Pumpkin Pie sans mushy-ooey-gooey texture!

  1. Did you get that creamy pumpkin soup recipe I sent you. I don't really like pumpkin and I loved this soup. Im pretty sure Josh would love it too=)

  2. I am with you on the "texture". I could definitly take it as ice cream...cuz I love the pumpkin spice cookies and the soup recipe Kara sent you...amazing! You really need to try it. It could be dessert...not dinner.
