Cold Lunches-yum!

I still remember my C.P. Lunch box from my little girl days (sniff, sniff), wish it was still around.

Hi all!

So now that I have 2 lunches to make (most days) with 1 picky eater and 1 NON, I need lunch ideas!

What do your kids like?

(Besides the usual chips and sandwiches!)

  1. I just discovered Brady loves sugar snap peas that you can buy at the grocery store. He eats them shell and all. They will definetly be in his lunch when school starts. Also I have seen people making sandwiches on those mini bagels. I think I will try that=)

  2. since I work at a little preschool I see LOTS of different stuff...pasta (in those little thermals), cut up hot dogs (in a thermal to keep warm) with Ketchup in a little tupperware to dip in, cheese quesadillas, chicken nuggets (in the thermal), Ashlynn like cream cheese and turkey rolled up in a tortilla, and if you want I can keep doing inspections cuz some people bring some pretty interesting stuff!

  3. I am dreading packing lunches again. Aaagghh!! I have picky eaters too. Sam loves salads and veggie sandwiches and healthy stuff like that but never wants me to pack them for her because kids make fun of her for eating healthy. Maci on the other hand won't touch anything like that. I don't know what to do either. I'll keep checking back here for some good ideas.
P.S my elementary school lunch box was The Bee Gee's. It had a picture of them on the front and names of the songs all over the lunch box. One of the song names was "Fanny." I always held my hand over that song name, it embarrassed me so bad.

  4. Soup in a thermos, crackers with ham & cheese to make her own lunchable, chicken Caesar wrap, apple sauce, veggies with ranch, dried fruit...basically whatever I can find and shove in her lunchbox. I have bought one of the plastic juicebox containers and just fill that up for her drink. It's GREEN but I'm more interested that it's WAY cheaper than buying them.
